Chelsea's Argentinian midfielder, Enzo Fernandez, has stated that he wants to live in Madrid. Sport24.az reports that he spoke about this in his latest interview with the British press:
"I would like to live in Madrid. It's a wonderful city, it reminds me of Buenos Aires."
When asked about the clubs in the Spanish capital, Enzo simply smiled and declined to comment.
Some time ago, there were reports in the press that the footballer would move to Real Madrid.
It should be noted that Chelsea has been in talks to extend the midfielder's contract since last summer and sees it as an important part of a long-term project. However, the parties have not yet been able to reach an agreement.
Fernandes' current contract runs until the summer of 2032. According to Transfermarkt, the market value of the Argentinian midfielder is approximately 90 million euros.
