England defeated Spain in the final match of the Women's European Championship.
According to "Report", the result of the dramatic match was decided in a penalty shootout.
The match, held in Basel, Switzerland, was a repeat of the 2023 World Cup final. It should be recalled that Spain won that match.
The main time ended with a score of 1:1. Spanish national team striker Mariona Caldentey opened the scoring in the first half, and Alessia Russo equalized in the second half.
The winner was not determined in extra time either.
