Turkish expert Engin Firat could be the head coach of the Azerbaijan national team. Sport24.az reports that his manager Tolgahan Tuğlu made a statement to the press of the brother country about this.
He said that they are interested in Engin Firat from Azerbaijan: "If an official offer comes, we will start negotiations."
The manager said that after leaving the Kenyan national team, the expert received many offers from Arab countries.
"I have received many calls from Azerbaijan. I don't know how many officials there are. But the interest is really great. But I have not received an official offer. Will Engin Firat go to the Azerbaijan national team? Of course. That is a brotherly country. Azerbaijan has a football culture that the coach respects."
Tolgahan Tuğlu said that the head coach's career in Kenya was successful: "He can achieve successful results in the Azerbaijan national team. Engin Hoca brings the dead to life. What he did in Kenya is known to everyone. You think what he would do with the Azerbaijan national team."
