Endrick's agent, Thiago Freitas, has commented on his move from "Real Madrid" to "Lyon".
Idman.Biz reports that Endrick signed a loan agreement with the French club in January until the end of the season. He only played a few minutes while at Real Madrid. According to his agent, this is due to intense competition within the team.
"If you look at the forwards, you will see that eight of the ten best players in the world play for Real Madrid: Vinicius Junior, winner of the FIFA "Player of the Year" award; the fantastic and exceptional player Mbappe; the magnificent player Jude Bellingham, who can win the "Player of the Year" award; and Rodrigo, who played an important role in many important Champions League matches. It is completely normal for an 18-year-old player to come to such a club and have limited playing time.
Endrick has been loaned to Lyon for six months. A decision has been made and Endrick will return to Real Madrid at the end of the season. There is no uncertainty or secrecy about this. The contract is purely a loan and there is no option to buy, so Endrick is expected to return. What will happen next season? I cannot predict this, but I can say that Endrick is expected to be a Real Madrid player again at the end of this season," AS quoted the agent as saying.
Endrick has played six games for Lyon, scored five goals and made one assist.
