"Every period of my career has its own difficulties. I have tried to learn new things in every difficulty".
This was stated by Emin Zamanov, the former football player of "Neftchi", who currently plays for "Shafa" club, in his interview with sport24.az.
We present the interview.
- You have been playing in this team since last year. What was the main factor in making this decision?
- I think that the club's thoughts, goals, and plans for the future played a big role here. I have been in this team since last season. I am happy that I made this decision now.
- How do you rate your performance in the team?
- I don't think it would be right for me to say anything about that. The coaching staff knows better.
- How satisfied are you with your role in the team?
- Of course, I am satisfied. I play regularly. I try to benefit the club.
- Let's go back a little and talk about your career. What was the most difficult period for you?
- Every period of my career has its own difficulties. I have tried to learn new things in every difficulty. I think that each of them has helped me at different times. But if I have to name a specific club, I can say it was when I was serving in the army at MOIK.
- You were considered one of the talented football players in your younger years. In your opinion, what prevented your career from being brilliant?
- I have also had some mistakes. Even the incorrect steps taken against me had an impact on this. But I can say that my own mistakes were more of a reason.
- How do you remember the years you spent in "Neftchi"?
- I gained a lot of experience while I was in the "Neftchi" team. These are still helping me now.
- You are 28 years old now. What is your plan for your career?
- My main goal now is to become the champion in the First League with "Shafa" and get a ticket to the Premier League. Allah knows best. I hope I can achieve this.
- I guess the championship will not be easy. Who is your most realistic opponent in the First League?
- We are working with all our strength for the championship. All teams in the First League are worthy of respect. Each has its own advantages and approaches.
