Neftchi's footballer Emin Mahmudov has scored his 50th goal in the Misli Premier League.
Idman.Biz reports, citing the official website of the Professional Football League, that the midfielder, who only wears the uniform of "white-blacks" in the Azerbaijani championship, has halved the "100" in his 221st game.
He scored his jubilee goal in the match against Karvan-Yevlakh (2:1) in the 16th round of the Misli Premier League. E.Mahmudov, who scored his first goal in the 2017/2018 season, when he debuted in the championship, is the 43rd football player in the history of the competition to score 50 or more goals.
The midfielder is the 16th player to score at least this many goals for the same club in the top league of Azerbaijani championships.
The captain of the Baku representative is the 4th bomber to score 50 or more goals in the championship with Neftchi. He is only behind Samir Alakbarov, Gurban Gurbanov and Yunis Huseynov.
