The Azerbaijani national team has seriously prepared for the match against Iceland.
According to the "Report" correspondent dispatched to Reykjavik, this was stated by Emin Mahmudov, a football player of the Azerbaijani national team.
The midfielder shared his thoughts on the qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup against the Icelandic national team:
"A tough game awaits us tomorrow. We have seriously prepared for the match. We believe that we will properly fulfill the instructions given by our head coach. Our motivation is currently high. We will try to have our say on the field tomorrow."
It should be noted that the Iceland-Azerbaijan match, which will take place on September 5, will start at 22:45 Baku time.
