Emin Mahmudov has scored his 60th goal for Neftçi.
"Report" reports with reference to the press service of the Professional Football League that the 33-year-old midfielder's anniversary coincided with the XXXIII round of the Misli Premier League.
He was the author of the goal that saved the Baku club from defeat in the match against Kapaz (2:2).
E.Mahmudov celebrated his 60th goal in his 252nd match for Neftçi. He scored 44 goals in the Premier League, 7 in the Azerbaijan Cup, and 9 in European Cups.
The midfielder is the 15th player in Neftçi's history to score 60 or more goals. He caught up with Kazbek Tuaev, who scored 60 goals in the list of top scorers in the club's history.
It should be noted that the most productive football player in Neftçi's history is Samir Alakbarov - 142 goals. Anatoli Banishevski scored 136, and Yunis Huseynov scored 103 times.
