The midfielder first shared his thoughts on the match:
- Of course, it was a good game. We were especially very good in the first half, our attacks were also numerous. We could create goal chances. We just couldn't take advantage of it. Maybe we lacked a little composure. But still, we won a good victory. We need to work a little to realize those chances.
- You will play against "Zira" in the next round. What are your expectations from this meeting?
- The meeting with "Araz-Nakhchivan" is already behind us. We are thinking about the next meetings. Yes, we will play against "Zira". "Zira" is one of the most disciplined teams in the championship. A very difficult game awaits us. That's for sure. But we will prepare. We will try to achieve a good result with our game.
- It is interesting that you went to Serbia for treatment. How many training sessions did you have with the team that you recovered so quickly?
- Yes, I went to Serbia. I had minor surgery there. I trained with the team for 1-2 days. Frankly, it was a bit difficult. Because it is difficult without training. The surgery also had some pain. But thank God, I feel better. I also went to the field and helped my team.
- In recent matches, "Neftchi" plays without a nominal striker, you play with a hidden number 9. Can we say that the team looks more successful with this tactic?
- We work as a team. And every player tries hard to fulfill what the coach wants. Thank God, it works well. Now we have to continue this. We must not stop in order to achieve better results. We try to make it better from game to game.
- Sometimes there are opinions that although "Neftchi" improved their results after Yuri Vernidub's arrival, they defeat those below them in the tournament table, but they cannot beat those above them yet. Will it be possible to put an end to the series in the next games in this regard?
- Of course. We also think about it. We want to win matches from game to game. We are preparing for this. It will be difficult. You can see for yourself that there is difficulty for every team in the championship. Even if it is in the lower ranks in the tournament table, even with the teams above, the main thing is to win.
