Azerbaijan national team midfielder Emin Mahmudov has not seen what style the opponents in League D of the UEFA Nations League - the Lithuanian and Liechtenstein teams - play.
The captain of the national team and "Neftchi" said this in an interview with "Report".
"We don't know the opponents fully yet, I haven't watched their games. I haven't seen what style they play. But again, our goal is clear: we must reach League C. God willing, we will achieve this," - E. Mahmudov emphasized.
It should be noted that, according to the results of the draw held yesterday in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, the Azerbaijani national team will compete with Lithuania and Liechtenstein in Group 2 of League D of the Nations League.
The new season will start on September 24. While the group's last matches will take place in November, the final stage of the tournament will take place in June 2027.
