"Qarabag" is the favorite in the pair that will face North Macedonia's "Shkëndija" in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.
Emin Imamaliyev, a former football player of Aghdam's representative, said this in an interview with "Report".
The expert believes that "Shkëndija" is not an easy opponent:
"First of all, I congratulate "Qarabag" on passing the second qualifying round. There are no easy opponents in these games. Because the champions of each country compete in the competition. Nevertheless, we always have great faith in "Qarabag". Albanian teams are a bit difficult. They play more defensively. But "Qarabag" has enough experience. We need to be careful and cautious. I believe that "Qarabag" will pass this stage. I think that the representative of Aghdam will win both games and advance to the next stage. The champion of Azerbaijan is the favorite of the match. But "Shkëndija" is not an ordinary team either, they have already passed the Romanian club before."
It should be noted that the first match, which will be held on August 5 at the "Todor Proeski" stadium in North Macedonia, will start at 22:00 Baku time. The return match, which will be held on August 12 at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium, will start at 20:00.
