"It's a great feeling to win like this on our home field." Sport24.az reports that these words were said by "Neftchi" goalkeeper Emil Balayev.
The goalkeeper shared his thoughts on the 25th round match of the Misli Premier League, in which they defeated "Imishli" with six unanswered goals:
"It's really great to give such a victory to our fans. I congratulate the entire "Neftchi" community, the fans, on both the victory and the holiday. Let's celebrate many more beautiful holidays and victories together."
Balayev, who entered the field in the second half of the match, said that the mood in the team is getting better and better:
"Neftchi" is not just a team. It's a big family. This includes the fans. When we lose or win, we always feel the support of the fans. This really inspires us. For example, we lost to "Turan Tovuz", but our fans came to the next away match with "Gabala". It wasn't an easy match. With their support, we won three points. The fans give us extra strength. We have won in two consecutive matches. We intend to continue this streak."
