As part of the 2nd qualifying round of the Azerbaijan Cup, 1st League representative "Sabail" will face Premier League team "Shamakhi" at their home ground.
The head coach of the capital representative, Elvin Mammadov, shared his thoughts with fanat.az on the eve of the match.
The specialist emphasized that they have been preparing for the cup match without a break after the difficult league match with "Shafa": "A tough game with "Shamakhi" awaits us. Aykhan muallim (head coach of "Shamakhi" Aykhan Abbasov - ed.) has a combative team. Actually, we will enter the game without stress. We don't have a distant goal in the cup. But this does not mean that we have no goal and we will give up easily. We want to continue our journey as much as we can.
There are no serious losses in the squad. Only our Ghanaian striker Mustafa Yakubu has a minor injury".
It should be noted that the "Sabail" - "Shamakhi" match will take place on October 29 at "ASCO Arena" and will start at 16:00.
