Sport24.az reports that these words were said by Sabail coach Elvin Mammadov at the press conference held after the 34th round match of the Misli Premier League against Zira.
He also answered questions from journalists.
- In my opinion, even if you are not to blame for Sabail's relegation from the Premier League, it will be attributed to you as a coach. Would you like to work in the first league and bring the team back to the Premier League?
- I thank the management for giving me the chance. We tried to do our best. I also have a reputation. We haven't talked to the management about this. Because we had hope. If there is an offer to rise to the Premier League again, why not?
- A team's relegation from the top league is a psychological blow to the head coach. Will it be difficult to overcome this barrier, or were you ready?
- We also need to change mentally. There are so many young coaches. Why not? There are ups and downs in football. Why not come back? Why should it be a trauma? Many good things also happened. I also have mistakes, and things I did right. We have just started working, we have a goal. We need to change the idea of not trusting young people. Why shouldn't we trust young people? Maybe someone will prove themselves? I am happy today that they gave me a heavy burden even though I have a B category. We all tried. There were also good things.

- Our management trusted me. It would be great if every club did this. There are so many examples. We have to think about the future.
- If you had come at the beginning of the season, would Sabail still have been relegated to the lower league?
- I have been asked this question a lot. I don't want to talk big about myself. Time has passed. Maybe if I were there, it would have been even worse. Or there would have been better things.
