"I am very happy." These are the words said by "Qarabagh" football player Elvin Jafarquliyev in his statement to Sport24.az.
The wing defender shared his thoughts after the return match of the Champions League play-off stage, which they lost to the Hungarian team "Ferencvaros" (2:3):
"I congratulate the Azerbaijani people, "Qarabagh" and football fans. This history has been repeated for the second time. I am happy to be a member of this team. A new history has been written. It is a great event for Azerbaijani football. It was my dream to play in the Champions League. I grew up watching those games since childhood."
It should be noted that "Qarabagh", who defeated their opponent 3:1 away, advanced to the main stage of the Champions League.
