Elvin Hasanov, who parted ways with "Quba" football club with a scandal, has officially taken over the helm of "Shaki".
Idman.Biz, referring to sportinfo.az, reports that the young specialist has signed a contract with his new club that will be valid until the summer of 2026.
This agreement made him the highest-paid head coach of the Second League. The regional representative will pay Hasanov a monthly salary of 3,500 manats.
The coach, who once worked at the "Sabah" academy, has taken on a great responsibility in exchange for the high salary he will receive. He promised that he would make "Shaki" champion and promote them to the First League.
Before Hasanov, "Shaki" was coached by Bahman Hasanov. The specialist left the team a month and a half after taking over.
The specialist, who went down in history for coaching "Ravan" five times, left the regional representative of his own free will.
The reason for this is the unsuccessful results recorded in the last two rounds of the championship. Thus, "Shaki" lost to "Garadagh Lokbatan" and "Khankendi" in a row – 2:3 and 0:1.
The team, which scored 7 points in four rounds, is currently in sixth place in the tournament table.
If there are two reasons for "Shaki"'s decline, one is the new management's difficulty in fulfilling the financial obligations it has taken on, and the other is the conflict between the head coach and the players.
"Shaki" came under the umbrella of a new patron in August. The sponsor who came to the football sector for "Khudat" completely transferred the staff of this team to "Shaki".
