"My contract with Turan Tovuz has expired. I decided not to extend the contract with the club," said Elton Turabov in his statement to Sport24.az.
The defender stated that he had reached an agreement with Karvan even before the end of last season:
"My transfer to Karvan was through my manager, Yunis Yunisli. Negotiations with the Yevlakh representative were almost finalized before the end of last season. Due to the changes at Turan Tovuz and, in general, the abolition of the legionnaire limit, I decided to choose a team where I could wear the jersey more often. I feel happy at Karvan. The team's goal is to compete properly in the Premier League."
It should be noted that during his career he has worked for the success of teams such as Turan Tovuz, Sumgayit, and Sabah.
