Elshan Abdullayev, a football player of "Baku Sporting" playing in the I League, did not expect that the free kick he took against the "Jabrayil" team would result in a beautiful goal.
The midfielder himself stated this in his statement to "Report".
The football player, who is the winner of the "Goal of the Month" project, shared his impressions:
"Recently, the head coach entrusted me with free kicks in the team. I did not expect that the shot I took in the game against "Jabrayil" would turn into such a beautiful goal. Although I felt that I would score a goal in the match. I even scored the same one a little earlier from that free kick. Only that ball bounced back from the post. I am glad that the goal I scored was selected as the best of February. I have won other awards in my career. I received my first award for the most beautiful goal scored. I express my gratitude to the Professional Football League for this project."
It should be noted that Elshan Abdullayev was presented with the award by Elchin Mehtiyev, the head of the Department of Organization and Registration of Competitions of the Professional Football League, before the match of the XIX round "Baku Sporting" - "Mingachevir".
