Elmar Bakhshiyev, the head coach of "Araz-Nakhchivan", commented on the game (1:2) against "Konyaspor", which was held today as part of the training camp in Turkey. Sport24.az reports that he said in a statement to the club's press service:
"This game was not in the plan from the beginning. Two days ago, we decided to face "Konyaspor". Three days ago, we tested our strength against "Alanyaspor". Although it is difficult to face two Super League clubs in 3 days, the players who came on the field tried to do a good job. In particular, we made changes in the defense line. We wanted to test different options.
We made mistakes, and the opponent took advantage of it. Of course, in a test game, what matters is not the result, but what the players see and do on the field. Although we lost, I was not dissatisfied with the fight my team put up, the game they showed. They are trying to implement what is shown in training. However, there are elements that we need to fix, and we need to work hard in training to fix them."
