In the 1/8 final stage of the Azerbaijan Cup, "Kapaz" defeated "Araz-Nakhchivan" with a score of 1:0 and advanced to the next stage. Sport24.az reports that Elmar Bakhshiyev, the head coach of "Araz-Nakhchivan", said the following at the press conference held after the match:
"We started the game poorly as a team. The Cup and the championship are different competitions. Here you have to give 100 percent to achieve your goal. Frankly, I can't recognize my team in the last 5-6 games. There is no team I want to see on the field. Of course, the problem is with us. We have to do more to get out of this situation.
Every defeat creates pressure. The important thing is not the defeat, but the game the team shows on the field. We performed very poorly. We must investigate the reason and do better."
