Elkhan Samadov, President of the Professional Football League (PFL), who was involved in an accident on the road to Khankendi, will undergo another surgery in Baku by the end of April.
This was stated by Sanan Abdullayev, Director of Media and Marketing of the PFL, in response to a request from "Report".
According to him, E. Samadov's condition is normal and his treatment continues.
It should be reminded that the incident occurred on December 16, 2023, on the section of the Yevlakh-Aghdam-Lachin road passing through the Aghdam region. A Mercedes Vito car driven by Rasim Gafarly, a resident of Baku, lost control and crashed into a road sign while driving towards Khankendi. As a result, PFL President Elkhan Samadov, Vice President Aslan Shahgeldiyev, Executive Director Zaur Haji-Maharramov, Media and Marketing Director Sanan Abdullayev, Technical and Sports Director Elgiz Abbasov and driver Rasim Gafarly sustained injuries of varying degrees.
After the incident, E. Samadov underwent several surgeries.
