Idman.biz reports that Elkhan Abdullayev, the head coach of the Azerbaijan national team consisting of football players under 19 years old, said this in a statement to the AFFA press service after the second test match (1:3) held with the local team within the training camp organized in Uzbekistan.
The expert stated that they made rotations in the squad and gave new players a chance: "We also opened the score with an early goal. However, the fact that the Uzbekistan national team has more qualified players played a decisive role in the end. Although we lost, we surpassed the opponent in created goal opportunities. Overall, I was satisfied with the training camp. Of course, we have shortcomings, we will work on them."
It should be noted that a 0:0 draw was recorded in the first match between the teams on October 9.
