"Those who left the team are already known. We have parted ways with 16 players." These words were said by Elgiz Keremli, the head coach of "Shafa," who qualified for the I League, in his statement to Sport24.az.
The specialist stated that they do not want to rush in transfer efforts:
"We have players we have added to our squad. We have almost completed 80 percent of the selection. There are players we are interested in transferring, and negotiations with them are still ongoing. We don't want to rush. Because we still have a lot of time. As for the preparation plan, we cannot plan because the start date of the I League has not been determined."
It should be noted that "Shafa" finished the Second League in second place last season. The club was 11 points behind champion "Shahdag Gusar."
