"It was a difficult game. MOIK is a tenacious and technical team." These words were said by Elgiz Keremli, the head coach of "Shafa," representing the I League, in his statement to Sport24.az.
The young specialist shared his thoughts on the game in which his team defeated MOIK in the 12th round of the league:
"MOIK had scored 9 points in the last 3 matches. It was an evenly matched game. In such matches, the team that makes fewer mistakes wins. In the second half, we forced the opponent to make mistakes by increasing the pressure up front. Inevitably, all clubs will strengthen their squads during the winter break. Therefore, we must also strengthen ourselves. If we want to continue as leaders, we must maintain stability. Only "Sabail" is mentioned as our main rival in the championship, but I think 4-5 teams are capable of fighting for the championship. Therefore, we prepare seriously for every opponent."
It should be noted that "Shafa" is in first place in the First League with 30 points after 12 rounds.
