These words were stated by Elgiz Keremli, the head coach of "Shafa," which drew in the match against "Zaqatala" within the 10th round of the First League, in his statement to Sport24.az.
The young specialist evaluated the match in which his team faced a loss of points:
"I didn't expect the game to go like this. I thought the opponent would push forward more. But "Zaqatala" preferred to defend more. In that case, our job becomes a bit more difficult. We deserved the win. Our players were able to show a good game. The reason we conceded a goal was that we made unnecessary ball losses one after another in those minutes. I think that if we can maintain stability until the end of the season, we can be champions in the end. We will try to make our fans forget the loss of points by winning the next round."
It should be noted that "Shafa", which finished the first round undefeated and at the top with 23 points, faced "Zaqatala" in the opening match of the second round. The capital representative, coached by Elgiz Keremli, lost points at home - 1:1.
