"Tensions are rising as the championship nears its end. MOIK is one of the strongest teams in the championship." These words were said by Elgiz Karamli, the head coach of "Shafa," in his statement to Sport24.az.
The young expert shared his thoughts on the match in the 23rd round of the league, where they defeated MOIK:
"In the first half, the game was even, and both teams had scoring opportunities. In the second half, our players performed more confidently and were more active, which allowed us to gain an advantage over the opponent. It is still too early to say that we have already secured the championship, but with this victory, we have taken a big step towards the championship. In the next round, our opponent "Shimal" will show its "teeth" against us. They want to maintain their position in the league. Considering this, we can expect the game will not be easy at all. We, on the other hand, will win and wait for our opponents to lose points so that we can celebrate the championship earlier. We have players in the squad whose contracts are expiring, but we will discuss these issues in more detail after the championship is formalized."
It should be noted that the "Shafa" - MOIK match ended with a 3:0 victory for the home team.
