The upcoming presidential elections in "Barcelona" could lead to significant changes in the club's sports structure.
Idman.Biz reports that Viktor Font, the main rival to the current management, has openly stated that he will remove sporting director Deco from his position if he wins.
According to him, the system to be established will only be formed in accordance with the requirements of the appointed head coach, and people not directly related to the team's football operations will be excluded.
Font has previously criticized the decisions regarding the transfer of Vitor Roque and Iñigo Martínez, believing that these processes were not managed properly.
Nevertheless, it is emphasized that there is a strong working relationship between Deco and head coach Hansi Flick. It is reported that they share the same views on player selection and the team's playing philosophy.
