Everyone is very happy for us. We want to get out of the group. That is our main goal. We don't want to go to the tournament just to participate; we want to prove ourselves," said Shomurodov.
Uzbekistan will participate in the World Cup for the first time in its history.
The World Cup will be organized by three countries: USA, Canada and Mexico. For the first time in the history of the tournament, 48 national teams will participate. The championship will be held from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
