The first match that Azerbaijani FIFA referee Elchin Masiyev will officiate at the European Championship among under-21 football players in Slovakia has been announced.
"Report" reports, citing the official UEFA website, that the 33-year-old referee will ensure fairness in the Czech Republic - England match in Group B.
He will be assisted by Elshad Abdullayev and Parvin Talibov. Italian Simone Sozza will act as the fourth official.
German Sören Storks will be in charge of VAR, and Italian Daniele Chiffi will be in charge of AVAR. The referee inspector will be Slovenian Darko Čeferin.
It should be noted that the Czech Republic - England match will start on June 12 at 23:00 Baku time.
