Azerbaijani FIFA referee Elchin Masiyev has received another appointment from UEFA.
Idman.biz reports that our representative has gained this opportunity in the semi-final stage of the European Championship among teams of football players under 21, which is organized in Slovakia.
Masiyev will perform the function of the fourth referee in the England-Netherlands game. The chief referee of the match will be Vasilios Fotias from Greece. The starting whistle of the match will be given on June 25 at 23:00 Baku time.
It should be noted that Elchin Masiyev previously managed the matches Czech Republic - England (1:3), Georgia - Portugal (0:4) in the group stage of the European Championship, and was the fourth referee in the Germany - Italy match (3:2) in the 1/4 finals.
