Eintracht, Qarabag's opponent in the UEFA Champions League League stage, has received a heavy penalty. Sport24.az reports that UEFA has penalized the German club with playing two away matches in the tournament without fans.
This was reported by Diario Sport.
The next away match for the Frankfurt team will be against Qarabag. The club has also been fined 38,000 euros.
The reason for Eintracht's punishment is the use of pyrotechnics by their fans in the away match against Barcelona (1:2).
It should be noted that the Qarabag - Eintracht match will be held in Baku on January 21 next year.
