"Eintracht Frankfurt" fans will not be able to attend the match against "Napoli" in the 4th round of the Champions League.
Idman.Biz reports this with reference to "CalcioNapoli1926".
The match will be held on November 4 at the "Diego Armando Maradona" stadium in Naples.
According to the publication, the Italian law enforcement agencies banned the fans of the German club from attending the game due to their actions in the 1/8 final stage match of the 2022/2023 Champions League season (Napoli won 3:0).
After the game, "Eintracht" fans rioted, set cars on fire and violated other laws. Disciplinary measures were then taken against them.
At the beginning of October this year, the Bundesliga club submitted an official appeal to UEFA regarding holding the match at a neutral stadium, but the regulatory body refused to do so.
It is noted that the Union of European Football Associations may reconsider its decision.
Let us remind you that both clubs are rivals of "Qarabag" in the general stage of the UEFA Champions League. Agdam club will meet with "Napoli" on November 26 in Naples, and with "Ayntraxt" on January 21, 2026 in Frankfurt.
