An unpleasant incident occurred during the Croatia-Turkey match, which was held as part of the qualifying round of the European Championship among football players under 21.
"Report" reports that during the match, the head coach of the Turkish U-21 national team, Egemen Korkmaz, lost consciousness and fell to the ground near the field.
The incident occurred in the 35th minute of the match, when Demir Ege Tıknaz protested against receiving a red card. During the protest, the specialist lost his balance, fell, and hit his head on the ground.
A medical team and paramedics immediately entered the field. After initial intervention, Egemen Korkmaz, who regained consciousness, was taken to the hospital for treatment.
