Fiorentina's 39-year-old striker Edin Dzeko has become the oldest goalscorer in the UEFA Conference League after scoring in the second round of the League stage against Austria's Rapid.

The Bosnian forward scored the historic goal in the 48th minute. Fiorentina won the match with a score of 3-0.
Dzeko joined the Italian club last summer. The forward has made 10 appearances in all competitions during this time and scored two goals. He has played for Manchester City, Roma, Inter, Wolfsburg and other clubs during his career. The 39-year-old player's current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2026.
