Eden Hazard, former player of Lille, Chelsea, Real Madrid and the Belgian national team, shared his memories of the injury that caused him to end his career at the age of 32. Sport24.az reports that the Belgian, speaking on his social network account, recalled those moments as follows:
"I was in great shape, then Thomas Meunier, who later became my teammate from the national team, injured me and ruined everything. I had a similar fracture two or three years earlier in a game with Chelsea. After the injury, I recovered, and then I broke the same ankle again in a game with Levante. That's when the problems started."
It should be noted that Eden Hazard was injured by Thomas Meunier in November 2019 during a match against PSG while playing for Real Madrid.
