Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe has spoken about the upcoming match against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League round of 16.
İdman.Biz reports that the match will take place on March 10.
"This is the biggest game in our club's recent history. That's how I see it; we have to keep that mindset. Our ability to rally and accept the significance of the game (in previous matches) has helped us a lot. Being underestimated has also helped us when opportunities arise; we need to use every element of our mental game.
We also played well in the main stage match, and so did our opponents (the English team lost 1:2 to the Catalans - ed.). This was especially true in the first half; we created some very dangerous situations, but we couldn't turn them into goals, but our opponents did. Their midfield trio controlled the game very well and was decisive, turning the course of the match in their favor. In the end, we had some chances that we missed," Howe is quoted as saying on UEFA's official website.
