Arsenal's attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze secured a victory for his team in the North London derby by scoring a hat-trick in the Premier League's 12th round match against Tottenham. Sport24.az reports, citing LiveScore, that the 27-year-old Englishman is the first player to score three goals in his debut North London derby match.
According to Opta, Eze is the first Arsenal player to score a hat-trick in an Arsenal-Tottenham match in 47 years, after former Arsenal striker Alan Sunderland (1978), and only the fourth player of all time.
It should be noted that the game ended with a 4:1 victory for the Gunners.
