The appointments for the 2026 World Cup qualifying group match between the national teams of Iceland and Azerbaijan have been announced. Sport24.az reports that the match, which will be held on September 5, has been entrusted to a team of referees from the Netherlands.
Sander van der Eyk will officiate the match. He will be assisted by assistant referees Rens Blumink and Stefan de Groot.
It should be noted that the match, which will be held at the "Laugardalsvöllur" stadium in Reykjavik, will start at 22:45.
