Dries Mertens ended his career

Former "Napoli" and "Galatasaray" striker Dries Mertens has decided to end his career. Sport24.az reports that insider Nicolo Schira shared this on his social network account.

 

The 38-year-old Belgian has been playing for the Istanbul club since 2022. Last season, he scored 6 goals in 52 matches and had 21 assists.

 

It should be noted that Mertens won the Italian Cup twice and the Super Cup once with Napoli. He scored 21 goals in 109 games for the Belgian national team.
