The draw ceremony for the mini-football tournament of the "Football Lesson in Schools" project, held in cooperation with AFFA and the Ministry of Science and Education within the framework of UEFA's "Hat-Trick" program, has been held. According to Sport24.az, a meeting was first held with the coaches and teachers working on the project in the administrative building of AFFA. Farrukh Ismayilov, Head of the Mass Football Department, leading specialist Orkhan Mikayilli, and specialist Ziya Safarov provided the participants with information about the format of the tournament for the 2024-2025 season, the application of new rules, and other issues.
In the end, the matches were determined by electronic draw.
It should be noted that the tournament, in which 36 teams participate, will start on May 21.
