The draw for the 2025/2026 season of the Top Women's League, organized under the auspices of AFFA, has taken place.
"Report" reports, citing the official website of the national association, that at the draw ceremony held in the administrative building of the organization, the Secretary General of AFFA, Jahangir Farajullayev, spoke first, wishing success to the teams participating in the tournament.
Later, Zumrud Agayeva, the head of AFFA's Women's Football Department, provided information about the championship regulations. The number of teams in the AFFA Top Women's League has doubled compared to the previous season. Thus, the championship, which will be organized with the participation of 12 teams, will consist of two rounds - a round-robin system with a home-away principle. The first round matches of the AFFA Top Women's League will be held on October 9-12.
