Dovran Kenzhekhunov, head coach of the Kazakh "AKAS" football club, shared his impressions of the internship program he underwent at "Qarabag".
Idman.Biz reports with reference to the Kazakh media that the 34-year-old specialist emphasized that the successes of the Aghdam representative are not accidental and that the club operates at a completely different level.
The Kazakh coach got acquainted with the internal structure of the club during a one-month internship.
Kenzhekhunov expressed his satisfaction with the meeting with the head coach of "Qarabag", Gurban Gurbanov, and the conditions created for him:
"The meeting with Gurban Gurbanov took place in a formal and calm atmosphere. He is a very serious person with the energy of a leader. It turned out that he knows the city of Almaty and even the clubs of the Kazakhstan Premier League well. Gurban muellim gave me full access to the training process, the work of the headquarters, and theoretical classes, which are usually closed to outsiders."
The Kazakh specialist assessed "Qarabag"'s performance in European arenas as the result of systematic work:
"In any case, "Qarabag" is really another level. When you see everything from the inside, you understand how they reached such heights and why they fought in the play-off stage of the Champions League. This is not a matter of luck, but the result of long-term systematic work."
