Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been named Premier League Player of the Month for December.

The English striker scored in all five Premier League games he played last month. He scored against Chelsea (3:1), Liverpool (3:3), Brentford (1:1) and Sunderland (1:1). He also scored twice against Crystal Palace (4:1).
In total, Calvert-Lewin has scored in six consecutive Premier League games. This is the longest streak since 2019. Back then, former Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy scored in eight consecutive games. This season, the Leeds striker has scored nine goals in 19 Premier League games. Manchester City striker Erling Haaland leads the goalscoring race with 20 goals.
