Domenico Tedesco's future at Fenerbahçe is in jeopardy.
İdman.Biz reports that Tedesco's team, appointed in September, previously lost 2-0 to outsider Fatih Karagümrük in the 26th round of the Super League, ending the Istanbul club's 22-game unbeaten streak.
According to the Sabah newspaper, club president Sadettin Saran and his team held an emergency meeting after the game. A decision on Tedesco's fate will be made after a meeting with Saran.
Two replacement candidates have been identified regarding the coach's potential departure: Aykut Kocaman and İsmail Kartal.
Tedesco has led Fenerbahçe in 39 matches this season. During this time, the team has won 23 games, drawn 11, and lost five.
After 26 matches, Fenerbahçe is in second place in the league table, four points behind Galatasaray. The champion has one game in hand.
