The leadership of the Spanish football club "Real Madrid" has offered a new contract to Antonio Rüdiger, one of the team's main defenders. However, there are different positions between the parties regarding the duration of the contract.
İdman.Biz, citing well-known insider Jose Felix Diaz, reports that the "royal club" has offered the experienced defender to extend his current contract for another year. Rüdiger's initial wish was to renew the contract for two years.
Nevertheless, the management of the Madrid representative hopes that the German football player will accept the club's offer. In accordance with the club's policy regarding players over 30 years of age, contracts are usually extended for one year.
It should be reminded that Antonio Rüdiger joined "Real" in the summer of 2022 from "Chelsea" with the status of a free agent. In a short time, he became one of the key figures in the center of defense in Carlo Ancelotti's team.
