According to reports, the new "Dinamo Bucharest" arena, which is scheduled to be completed in 2026, will be named "Dinamo Stadium named after Mircea Lucescu". The famous coach played for the club from 1963 to 1977 and played more than 250 games for the team.
Lucescu is the oldest coach in the history of the Champions League and national teams. He has won 35 trophies with his teams; only Pep Guardiola (40) and Alex Ferguson (49) have won more trophies.
