Kyiv "Dinamo" has dismissed head coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi. Sport24.az reports that the official website of the Ukrainian club has released information about this.
This decision was made after the defeat to "Omonia" in Cyprus in the 5th round of the UEFA Conference League (0:2).
"Dinamo" has lost in three of the four matches it has played in the Conference League and has won only one. The team is in 27th place with 3 points. The team is in 7th place in the Ukrainian Premier League with 20 points after 13 rounds.
Oleksandr Shovkovskyi replaced Mircea Lucescu at Dinamo in November 2023. The former goalkeeper, considered a club legend, played for "Dinamo" for 24 years (1992-2016) as a football player and appeared in 426 matches. He also made his debut as head coach at "Dinamo" in 2023.
