"Preparation for the new season is proceeding according to plan and we have no problems. We will see the benefits of this in the championship." These words were said by Araz Bagirov, the head coach of "Difai", a representative of the First League, in his statement to Sport24.az.
The 43-year-old head coach spoke about the changes made to the staff:
"The team is fully formed, although it is unlikely, we may involve one football player. We have 21 players and 3 goalkeepers. Our goal until January is the top "5". Only one football player remained from last season. A lot will depend on how we start the season and the course of events. After January, we will look at what stage we are in and determine our goal. "Shafa" and "Sabail" from the First League clubs will be ambitious. This season will be more intense than last year. There are teams with high finances. MOIK's budget has doubled. We have spoken with "Sabah" player Timilehin Olufaseun and his manager. They are a little late in contacting us. The football player himself wants to play for our club, but the issue has been delayed due to financial conditions and some of the manager's demands. Therefore, we cannot say anything specific. We are still waiting."
