Diego Simeone, head coach of Madrid's "Atletico", has made a statement regarding his son and the team's forward, Juliano Simeone.
Idman.Biz reports that the Argentinian specialist stated that Juliano Simeone fully deserved his new contract.
"It is important that Juliano extends his contract. He deserves it. He has gone through a great personal development, especially in a difficult situation like being the son of the head coach. This is the result of hard work, humility and stability. Nevertheless, we will demand more from him. He still has things to work on," Simeone emphasized in his statement to Mundo Deportivo.
The 23-year-old striker's new contract with the Madrid representative is until 2030. The release clause in the player's contract is 500 million euros (approximately 930 million AZN).
