Diego Simeone, head coach of Madrid's Atletico, explained the reason for his confrontation with Liverpool fans (2:3) at the end of the Champions League first-round match. Sport24.az reports that the Argentine specialist told Marca about it:
"They talk about staying calm, but you are insulted throughout the match and you can't say anything. My reaction is unfounded, but everyone knows what it's like to endure insults for 90 minutes non-stop. These insults lasted 90 minutes. I hope Liverpool finds who did it. In fact, they should calm me down. I'm the one who has to endure all these insults."
It should be noted that Atletico will face Eintracht Frankfurt in the next Champions League match.
